Animal Friends

Animal friends is a mixed portfolio of animal relations. These are photos of those we call family, as well as clients, community, and those living out in nature. I am forever thankful to them all for their tolerance of me and my camera and their willingness to share their personalities for all to see.

Our headliner on here is Rho (or “the Boulder” as we lovingly call him), was our elder forever foster that recently passed in Feb 2024.

People

A small but growing portfolio of portraits (friends and clients alike), performances, and slices of life. I have been blessed having some of these amazing folks in my life whether it’s been getting to cheer on my friends and the lovely folks of JC Burlesque, invitations to parties/events, and even just a quiet dinner with friends. I look forward to interacting more again both with friends and the public and having more to share here in the future!

agentSKYHOUSE

Photographing the varying spectrums and shades of agentSKYHOUSE (aka Ty/Tyber, Sky, Muddy, one with many names) is an ongoing personal project to shed light on the variance of not only gender but identity that can be contained within a “single” individual. Partner for 14 years and friend for longer, Sky has been a pleasure to not only witness but to share with you in their many iterations.

While I will be making an article about Sky, their many projects and passions, as well as some of our shared goals - I encourage you in the meantime to look through the expanse of our shared hub : Le Rouge Sublet

Plants, Places, and Everything Else

This last gallery contains plants, natural scenes, and a little bit of everything else that wasn’t enough to stand on it’s own. You’ll spot food, altars, bridges and other structures, among other things.

I have a deep love and respect for plants and fungi, their beauty, diversity, ability to thrive and survive, and everything that they do for us and the rest of our ecosystem. One of my many planned projects is to eventually piece together a few photography books of plant life (and history).

Self Portraits

Prior to 2019, it was rare for me to take more than a few self portraits in a year (the self portraits I’ve displayed here date back only as far as 2015). During the summer of 2022, I pushed a step further and took pictures of myself every day for about a month. It’s been a learning curve to be my own subject of focus (not just in photography either!) and I’m still learning to be more playful and push my creativity while creating interactive portraits of myself. Anyway, here’s to a growing collection.
